Built in 1905 as a gentlemen’s country residence. It was the first house on the Mains Estate and sits at the end of a quiet road ten minutes walk from picturesque Giggleswick village. Beyond Woodlands’ leafy drive the Yorkshire Dales National Park stretches for miles.

The enchanting Lord’s Wood boarders the house to the west, through which you can walk to Giggleswick Scar, a dramatic of limestone cliff, or the easier going lower footpath leaves woodlands to the north for Stainforth Falls and beyond. Enjoy the spectacular views from the terrace over the Ribble Valley to the east, or a 15 minute walk down The Mains takes you to the pretty market town of Settle, with shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs, as well as a theatre and swimming pool.

Woodlands is a large house, comfortably sleeping 18 guests in 9 bedrooms, all beautifully restored and furnished in simple early twentieth century style.
